Green Beans Amandine
Fresh green beans are in season and this is one of nicest ways to serve them.
Cook as directed on package:
- 4 cups of frozen green beans or fresh green beans
While beans are cooking melt and lightly brown:
- 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine
- 2 tablespoons slivered almonds
Take pan off heat and stir in:
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Pour almond mixture over the drained beans, mix lightly and serve.
