'O'Henry' Bars
Nutritious bars, pack well in lunches.
Throw in a medium size pan:
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 brown sugar
Cook until melted through (do not boil).
Add:
- 1 cup peanuts
- 2 cups Rice Krispies
Mix well and press into a greased 8 × 8 inch pan.
Melt over a very low heat:
- 1 medium size chocolate bar or 1 cup of chocolate chips
Spread over Rice Krispies and chill.
Easy.
